Authentic quality Native American whistle hand-made here in Dothan, Alabama by the Mato-Toyela family. Among the Cherokee, there were many musical instruments prior to modern times. Several of these have been lost over the years to stories and legends, though one which has remained is the 4-hole whistle. Such an instrument would be very precious, usually kept close to the heart and played whenever a simple thought of happiness lept into the owner's mind. Play your whistle in happiness and enjoy its timeless voice whenever the notion takes you!
The Cherokee Whistle has a natural finish with sunflower, tea tree, and peppermint oils which, when maintained properly, can last a lifetime. Comes with a suede lanyard to hang around your neck. The whistle is just under 7" long.
